...is not a thing. -It's a Person. Life demanding? Does it seem to get the best of us? Ever feel like there are more problems and not enough of "me"? Weary? Beaten down? Exhausted? Feel run over? Coffee not doing the trick? Battery need recharging? Spiritually lethargic? Bored? In a rut? Ever feel incarcerated within? Consider the veracity of this proposed philosophical equation. L+C=D1 where "L" = life in all its complexities and tribulations and "C" is our personal capital which, sadly, is naturally defective and deficient. The sum of our defective anemacy plus life's demands equals "D1" - discouragement, depression, despondency, despair, (spiritual) death. Which one of us wants that for ourselves or our loved ones for that matter? But, how to change the equation? Is there some detectable, game changing "X" factor that can be brought to the table? Anyway to energize our batteries? Our Creator wants so much more for us than ho-hum, hum-drum!... "Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint". "Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable". Yeah, buddy...ought we yearn for His "power"; His "strength" - that we neither "faint", nor "are weary", nor "utterly fall"? Which one of us doesn't seek "to mount up with wings like eagles"? Intimacy with He Who is everlasting, Infinite Energy, our Creator, the Self-existing One, the true "Know It All", the Benefactor of life and empowerment truly is that game changing "X" factor that dramatically transforms life's philosophical equation from "discouragement, depression, despondency, despair, (spiritual) death" to D2 - "dynamic deliverance". How bout' it? Weary of life? King Jesus promises those that are His, "another Helper", that "will abide in us forever - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you". Ready to run? Ready to fly?... ..."those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint".
